What happens when more than 9,000 of the world’s top innovators and entrepreneurs under 30 gather together in the most revolutionary city in the country? They seize the moment to create, collaborate, and conceive new ideas that can change the world. The 2018 Forbes Under 30 Summit is more an immersive experience than a static conference: a private music festival, A-list speakers, investor speed-pitching, industry-focused field trips, a legendary pub crawl, a world-famous food festival and a powerful day of community service.

BRAND IDENTITY
Created a flexible identity for the 2018 Under Summit to accommodate various touch points. I spent time developing a coloring system that would easily identify the 7 different zones (each containing 4 individual tracks). We also strategized on signage packages that would satisfy each sponsor, and efficiently use our time. Signage included sponsored branding opportunities, wayfinding for both our main hub and multiple venues, and staging design for our 8 various stages.
ASSET EXAMPLES
Shown here are examples of how the visual identity could live amongst various assets, such as wayfinding signage, and holding screens. Sam Charlino helped create a lot of the various elements and did an amazing job at experimenting with the guidelines provided. Because we did not have the budget for a large installation piece as initially planned, we got creative on ways we could implement the U30 branding in the space. For example, we created totem poles in printed vinyl, and metal cubes wrapped in printed fabric. These ways were significantly cost-effective, and a great opportunity to have consistent visual elements in the village.
We hired professional photographers to document notable moments of the event, and sourced tagged social posts using our hashtag #Under30Summit. We had over 2.3 billion social impressions, and over 9k attendees.

Protestors during Jeff Flake's appearance. They demonstrated together to urge him to vote against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, who was accused of sexual harassment. I think it's rather important to note.
