Under 30 2018 Summit
The 2018 Forbes Under 30 Summit is more an immersive experience than a static conference: a private music festival, A-list speakers, investor speed-pitching, industry-focused field trips, a legendary pub crawl, a world-famous food festival and a powerful day of community service.
Created a flexible identity for the 2018 Under Summit to accommodate various touch points. Used a strategic coloring system to identify the 7 different zones, each containing 4 individual tracks. We also strategized on signage packages that would satisfy each sponsor, and efficiently use our time. Signage included sponsored branding opportunities, wayfinding for both our main hub and multiple venues, and staging design for our 8 various stages.

Healthcare Summit
The 2018 Forbes Healthcare Summit will again gather healthcare’s most powerful people for candid and open discussion, tackling controversial issues head-on. Our goal: to turn healthcare’s challenges into opportunities.
This is the first event where I personally researched and contacted vendors to handle our staging. Held at Jazz at Lincoln Center, we had a beautiful space to work with and I wanted to take full advantage. Working with SurfaceGrooves, we brainstormed and produced a cost-effective staging that would leave an impact on attendees. Branded and produced all collateral including name badges, way-finding, and agenda books.
WEB DESIGN - UI/UX
Forbes Pre-Sale Marketing
Design and art-direction of long-form native ads, Forbes BrandVoice, editorial spreads, and social posts. Assisted on big-swing pitches including: AT&T, Microsoft, American Express, Bacardi, and Intel. Illustrated various storyboards depicting hypothetical video content.
Agtech Salinas Summit
The smartest minds at the intersection of Silicon Valley and global agriculture converge at the Forbes AgTech Summit to tackle critical challenges and showcase the latest innovations for farmers, investors and stakeholders of global food systems.
Successfully reused and transformed the staging from Women’s Summit to fit the aesthetic of Agtech. This saved Forbes time and money during a back-to-back event month.
Women's Summit
Forbes Women’s Summit celebrates the doers and the doing; a source of inspiration and support that connects and empowers women around the world, helping them to realize their potential and reach new heights.
Designed, branded, and produced all collateral for Women's Summit a month before the event. Collateral includes in-book ads, agenda books, name badges, and an event app. Branded the space with hanging banners, vinyl graphics, as well as sponsorship totems. Pushed Forbes to create a "risky" stage composed of wood panels and plants, representing the comfort and aesthetic of a living room. This paid off as shortly after the event we were contacted by BizBash on the production and design of the staging. This backdrop would later be repurposed into our Agtech stage.
CIO Summit
The CIO Takes Center StageWith advancements in digital transformation, machine learning, artificial intelligence, data analytics, and more, it has never been a better or more challenging time to be a Chief Information Officer. Forbes CIO Summit gathers the most influential of these leaders to explore today’s biggest technological challenges, foster deep collaboration and generate new ideas.
The 2018 CIO Summit is the first conference where I had full creative control over branding, design, and signage. We took inspiration from our competitors, and changed the layout of our staging in a similar fashion. We highlighted our digital screen as the centerpiece, and refined our title slides.

What Hesuh Eats
What Hesuh Eats explores personal narrative design through the subject of food. Process-driven illustrations will be the medium to illustrate what I eat everyday. Every single food and drink consumed in ‘x’ time span, will be documented and included in my project. In this way, I will achieve my goal to contextualize my personal background and identity, as well as my environment and current events.
